Sony confirms PlayStation Plus relaunch games, perks and other details
Some classic purchases from PS3 and PSP will carry over to PS4 and PS5, with Ubisoft+ as an added benefit
This week, Sony revealed all the details of the new PlayStation Plus tiers launching this summer. The company officially confirmed the initial game lineup and rollout dates for different regions. It also explained how users will access older classics.

Today, we are pleased to share with you official news about changes coming to our subscription services. This June, we’re bringing together PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now in an all-new PlayStation Plus subscription service that provides more choice to customers across three membership tiers globally.

• Available on PS4 and PS5, expected this Spring
• Will merge PS+ and Now
• Tier 1: Include existing PlayStation Plus benefits.
• Tier 2: Offer a large catalog of PlayStation 4 and, eventually, PlayStation 5 games.
• Tier 3: Offer extended demos, game streaming and a library of classic PS1, PS2, PS3 and PSP games.
• Sony is also investing more heavily into cloud gaming.
• No Plans for Day and Date Releases.
